Access and Opportunity, Diversity & Inclusion – Call for Entries

Monmouth University’s Pollak Gallery
January 21 – March 13

Acts of injustice, bias, and disrespect, against groups and individuals, continue to play out across our nation. This juried exhibition will feature works that define what it means to be a good citizen in a global context, a person appreciative of all cultures and committed to fairness with respect and equality for all. By looking broadly at access and opportunity for all members of society regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation we can help everyone recognize, appreciate, and respect difference.

Entry Requirements:

OPEN CALL: Dance Films for The Outlet Dance Project's 15th Annual Festival

The Outlet Dance Project seeks short dance-films that not only show excellence in the genre, but also have connections to site-specificity, architecture, and/or sculpture as well. The festival is open to filmmakers and choreographers everywhere who identify or have identified as women.

Studio Montclair Call for Entries: Everyday Objects

Everyday Objects:
Every day we are surrounded by objects that we have relationships with – physical relationships, psychological relationships, sensory relationships. These objects carry a history and a set of meanings that we sometimes share collectively and other times are extremely personal to our individual experiences. Found-object artists investigate these relationships; exploring the inherent beauty in objects and how these objects can have meaning shared by the collective memory of our culture/society.
