Community Engaged Practice Programs

Arquetopia is excited to announce the launch of VAACA (Vinculación Académica, Artística y Comunitaria de Arquetopia), our new area of Community Engaged Practice. This initiative focuses on strengthening educational and artistic connections with diverse sectors, fostering the shared responsibility of participating in healthy cultural ecosystems. Through VAACA, we will expand our collaborations with museums and cultural institutions, share our critical perspectives, and build meaningful bridges with cultural heritage.

Power and the Colors of the Americas: Natural Pigments Instructional Program

We are excited to invite you to Power and the Colors of the Americas: Natural Pigments Instructional Program, a three-week immersive experience in Oaxaca, Mexico, or Cusco, Peru. Designed for emerging and mid-career artists, designers, and photographers, this program provides hands-on training in traditional dyeing techniques while critically engaging with the historical, social, and ethical dimensions of natural pigments.
