International Art Competition City

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 4th "City" Online Art Competition for the month of May. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. The City theme may include everything that is city related, (cityscapes, towns, urban scenes or any metropolitan subjects). A variety of interpretations of City theme can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional). All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. Winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work.

Solo Art Competition

Artist Space Gallery is pleased to announce its third "Solo Online Art Competition." The jury will select three winners in three categories (painting, photography, and sculpture). Through the Art Competitions, emerging artists will have the opportunity to show a range of their artworks (from 8 to 24 images) in an individual solo art exhibition lasting one full month. The jury will not consider artworks with pornographic or satanic content. Judging the artwork will be based on the following criteria: creativity, originality and quality of art, overall design, demonstration of artistic ability, and usage of medium. If not selected for the solo art exhibition your work may still be considered for inclusion in the annual group show. $58 for 10 images. Deadline: May 3, 2022.

“Around the World” Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Around the Word”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at http://www.pixarra.com/competition between March 25, and April 21, 2022.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on April  24, 2022. The evaluation  criteria will be: quality, technique and thematic relevance.

The emphasis is on peer to peer networking, concepts, contexts,

The purpose of this group is to offer artists a safe space for open conversation, support from peers, a chance to build a global network & creative growth through constructive feedbacks, sharing knowledge, experience & networking.

Open to all artists 18 years and older.

Visual art mediums allowed are painting, mixed media, drawing, collage, digital paintings, photography & sculpture.

All subject matter allowed.

The artwork must be a cohesive body of work with the same distinct style, consistency and theme. No political, profanity or nudity allowed.

]The artist must have at least 6 cohesive pieces for the solo exhibition, however, the artist may present up to 10 for jury review and selection.
