Once again, we're opening our biannual Open Call specifically for publication in our next issue, along with the added possibility of collaborating with our team in exhibitions, launchings and podcasts from then on - as an integral part of Dose's artistic network.

 

Artist Residency

Art, Community and Tech describe the prophecy for July.

At the end of next month, Traditional Dream Factory will host the first-ever Abela Art Fair. For that purpose, we are looking for 1-3 artists that would like to come and stay for an artistic residency during July to create large scale art pieces - that can either remain on the land or be taken by the artist.

As a resident you will get:

- The possibility to exhibit during the event and connect with artists and crypto art collectors.

- Education and guidance on how to set up NFTs to have it available for sale in our fiat-less fair.

- Material supplies.

- A possible grant in tokens to be negotiated between the artist and curation team

Applications for the next edition of PACAP – Performing Arts Advanced Programme are now open.
The sixth edition of the Performing Arts Advanced Programme is curated by Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz.
This advanced training course will run from February 16 to July 30, 2023 and it will take place mostly in Lisbon, Portugal.

AiR Carpintarias / FLAD 2022

The AiR Carpintarias / FLAD 2022 is a three-month artist residency, directed to individual artists or artist duos in Fine Arts. FLAD Luso-American Development Foundation supports this artistic residency. 

AiR Carpintarias / FLAD 2022 is intended for North-American artists not residing in Portugal or Portuguese-Americans. 

The AiR offers a monthly artist fee plus flight costs; an apartment for the artist is also provided for.

CSL - Carpintarias de São Lázaro is a contemporary cultural center where creativity, innovation and multidisciplinary intersect giving an opportunity to bring people, communities and knowledge together. 

Linha de Fuga

In 2022, Linha de Fuga holds the third edition of the International Laboratory that promotes the meeting between creators, artists and thinkers from different countries, in a field of experimentation, learning and sharing of collective knowledge. It takes place in Coimbra (Portugal), between September 16th and October 9th 2022, through seminars and workshops, for the exchange of practices, coordinated by invited artists, with access to workspaces and the critical assessment of the festival's curators and artists.

In parallel to the Laboratory, it takes place the International Festival, with performances, conferences and talks, in which the participating artists can attend and to which they can also add the presentation of their work in progress.

OPEN CALL: International Laboratory of Artistic Creation

Applications are open, until April 22, to participate in the third edition of the Linha de Fuga International Laboratory, a creation laboratory that is a space for meetings and exchanges of artistic practices, which will take place between September 16 and October 9, 2022, in Coimbra, Portugal.

Dedicated to the theme «The Ethics of Care», the international call will select 15 participants and is open to arts professionals and documenters who must submit a work in process, which considers the topic under discussion. Entree fee is necessary but not obligatory, Linha de Fuga works to find fellowships for the laboratory participants in need.
