PROUD+ 2021

PROUD+ is the fourth national edition of visual arts exhibition running from July 3 - 30, 2021 at The Studio Door (San Diego, CA).

LGBTQIA+ artists are encouraged to present contemporary works that celebrate the unique sense of pride that this diverse community has. The Studio Door is seeking artwork that expresses authentic, diverse viewpoints from the LGBTQIA+ experience. Show us what your Pride looks like.

The Crow Show 2021

THE CROW SHOW 2021 is the seventh national annual exhibition of visual arts running from April 3 - 24, 2021 produced by The Studio Door.

Lucky number seven. This exhibition is our most popular visual arts exhibit bringing artists from across the nation to celebrate the Crow. Having taken on mythological importance, Crows appear in all parts of the world. In folklore, they may foreshadow tragedy or usher in good news. The reality is a highly intelligent bird capable of social interactions. In recent years, the crow has become a muse to many artists. This annual exhibition seeks to represent the many faces of the Crow in reality and fantasy. Show us what the Crow means to you [Creative interpretations of all black birds, ravens and other Corvus species are acceptable].

Open Call for Entries: Women Suffragists Exhibit

Women Soaring Project (WSP) is a synergistic collaboration between MiraCosta College and Sierra College with faculty from various disciplines, created to recognize and feature important women in history starting with our inaugural fall exhibition as Women Suffragists.

We will be showcasing artwork inspired by the women suffragists theme. The focus may be on a particular woman in your life or in history that has positively influenced you in terms of voting or the subject could be on the broader importance of women's suffrage. We are currently holding an open call for entries so you are encouraged to submit artwork to the show.

PROUD+

PROUD+ 2020 is the third national edition of visual arts exhibition running from July 3 – 25, 2020 at The Studio Door(San Diego, CA). The exhibition runs concurrent with San Diego Pride month. Includes "in gallery" and "online only" exhibition choices.

An artist reception is scheduled for July 11th, 2020 at 6 – 9 PM.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and other community artists (LGBTQIA+) are encouraged to present contemporary works that celebrate the unique sense of pride that this diverse community has.
