WIN 11 ART RESIDENCIES WORLDWIDE WITH THE ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE - Deadline 18 December

Enter the 12th Arte Laguna Prize to win a rich art residency program from Venice to San Francisco, from the Mauritius to Shanghai and Kolkata: extraordinary opportunities to experience new cultures, create new works and participate in new activities in multicultural settings.

To apply for the 11 Residencies, submit at least 2 works to one of the contest categories: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance, virtual art, digital graphics, land art and urban art. DEADLINE DECEMBER 18, 2017.

THE 11 ART RESIDENCIES ARE:

Print your large woodcut with BIG INK at 3 Fish Studios, San Francisco, CA

Event Synopsis: BIG INK is pleased to partner with 3 Fish Studios for two one-day large woodcut printing sessions. We’ll be utilizing 3 Fish’s 48" x 72" etching press to pull prints. If accepted, artists will have two months prior to the event to carve their image into a piece of plywood. BIG INK remains in contact with each participant providing guidance and technical support when needed.  Eric Rewitzer and Annie Galvin are printmakers and painters, husband and wife, and founders of 3 Fish Studios.

Morceau/Photo 2017

Morceau/Photo, an international photography competition, is now accepting entries for its 2017 Award. Presented by Grand Morceau & Co., a fine art gallery and publisher in San Francisco, the winners will be published in Morceau #1 and receive a cash prize of $250. The Award is open to photographers worldwide, both professional and amateur. All styles and methods of photography or lens-based work are eligible, including traditional, digital, new media, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and collage.
