ABOUT

A ⇆ T is a project establishing a network of residencies for the promotion of artistic research and production in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Occitania, promoted by a collaboration between  Idensitat, Casa Planas (Palma), La Escocesa (Barcelona) and Le BBB Centre d’art (Toulouse). It is supported by the Euroregion Pyrénées Méditerranée - AAP Culture / Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion.

2020 / 2021 BARCELONA – AIR OPEN CALL

R.A.R.O Barcelona offers an itinerant Artists In Residence program that allows artists to create in the different studios that are part of the R.A.R.O. network in Barcelona.
Each artist can work in a minimum of two studios for the period of the residency, deepening in different techniques, according to the project that they are aiming to develop.
R.A.R.O. also offers spaces to work in Curatorial Projects, Theater and Performance arts, as well as ceramics and textile art.

During the residency, artists may show their work to the local public, get in contact with local artists, curators and collectors among other art related enthusiasts. At the end of the residency, artists would have the opportunity to show their final work either as an Open studio or exhibition.

VII EDITION BETA PUBLICA CHOREOGRAPIC SHOWCASE

The BETA PUBLICA Choreographic Showcase is a well stablished event in the contemporary dance landscape of Madrid (Spain).
Since 2014 the BETA PUBLICA Association drives this anual event to connect new and stablished choreographers, willing to test their new works, with a very involved audience.
The Showcase is open to the participation of Creators from any country in the world. Like previous editions, the organization will provide an small stipend to all choreographers selected and also some financial assistance for travel and accommodation of participantes non- resident in the Autonomous Community of Madrid .

Punto y Raya Festival 2020 Call for Entries

As we carefully traverse the global state of affairs, perhaps we can spend some of our isolation time turning our gaze inward to ponder about audiovisual art in its purest state: Form, Colour, Motion, Sound. 

PUNTO Y RAYA FESTIVAL launches at the top of its voice the ninth INTERNATIONAL CALL open to Abstract / Non-Representational Short Films.

- The films must be made entirely with Abstract (non-representational) Imagery
- All techniques are welcome
- Soundtrack cannot feature any words, in any language
- Maximum runtime is 8 minutes.
- Films must have been produced after 2016

FRESH·RICE Open Call

RICE is a Reversing Initiative to Counter the Exclusion of females and other discriminated groups in the art world. 

We are seeking artists from around the world to feature in our new online magazine and to exhibit at the prestigious MUTUO art gallery in Barcelona, as soon as the coronavirus allows it. 

Submissions are open until May 3, 2020. 

Addressed to artists from any nationality, any gender or sexual identity, +18 yo, participation fees start at 10€ and vary according to the number of images to submit.
