2024 Taipei Design Award

2024 Taipei Design Award (TDA) is now calling for entries.
We are looking for the best design works from designers all over the world, and the total prize money for this year's awards reaches up to NT$4.4 million!  
The top honor  Grand Prize is also up to NT$600,000!

About TDA

Pier-2 Art Center Artist-in-Residence Program (PAIR) 2025 OPEN CALL

Pier-2 Art Center is a cross-domain art center where is the most iconic modern art stage in Southern Taiwan and is devoted to the cultivation of potential artists and designers. Following the tradition of the past industries such as commercial harbor, iron, and steel, shipbuilding, Pier-2 Art Center holds activities related to these industries' characteristics. 

By receiving artists from all over the world and from the different domain, Pier-2 Artists in Residence program was established in 2015, which aims to bring in more infinitely creative and experimental works and strengthen the artistic spirits in the extreme.

2025 Taoyuan International Art Award

2025 Taoyuan International Art Award” (TIAA), organized by the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) opens a global call for entries online from 1 to 26 April 2024. The prospectus of the award will be available on both TMoFA’s official website and TIAA’s online platform. The competition is open to participants of all nationalities, ages, individuals, or groups. Works must be new pieces presented to the public for the first time and have never entered government-organized competitions in Taiwan. The selection process is open to all categories of artwork and embraces various artistic mediums.

Since 2011, VT Artsalon has been promoting fresh and diverse exhibitions through open calls. We've organized seven successful open call exhibitions, and now, we're embarking on a new chapter. The biennial international open call is becoming an annual event, while a new open call project targets young creators in Taiwan, fostering connections and artistic energy.

Join us for the 2024 Open Call Exhibition. We welcome artists of all backgrounds to submit their outstanding works.
