The Dainamaina Award invites storytellers, illustrators, game designers, and creative makers from around the world to offer new ways for children and teenagers to dream, play, and understand life.

What We’re Looking For

Kooshk Residency Winter Open Call

Kooshk residency, established in mid-2014, is a non-profit space for arts and culture in Tehran. Kooshk provides a convenient space for artists, curators, researchers, writers and filmmakers to encourage inter-cultural dialogue and art creation. Kooshk strives to contribute to the development of Iranian art and culture through participation in international exchange programs with cultural institutes worldwide. These exchange programs allow the blending of cultures, provoke creativity and foster beneficial connections among nations. Kooshk welcomes and encourages qualified individuals from any discipline to contribute to the formation of this cultural movement by applying to use the facilities provided in Kooshk residences and studios.

Paadmaan Video Event

 

Paadmaan Video Event is an international video event born in Tehran, Iran, seeking to explore video documentations of recent interdisciplinary works of art (e.g. installation, performance, new media). Organized by Paadmaan Projects, the Video Event considers ‘video’ as its central theme.

The event emphasizes on video in the context of the art documentation, while addressing the challenges embedded within the so-called ‘documentation’ of interdisciplinary art works. Priority is given to works of art that portray these kinds of challenges, from the lens of the artist with attention to the artistic decisions made during the process of the documentation.
