3 IMMERSIVE ARTS RESIDENCIES

CULTVR Lab is pleased to announce the first two open calls for Catalyst 360º, an ambitious residency and virtual exhibitions programme designed to support artists to engage, develop and test immersive experiences that lie between the physical and digital realm.

3 residency opportunities will be facilitated through this strand to support the research, development and presentation of new immersive productions and live experiences. 

The call invites creative practitioners to submit projects that leverage the unique capabilities of CULTVR Lab and its forward facing performance space, which features a 180º immersive dome with a 15.1 surround sound system. 

The Royal Society of British Artists Call For Entries

Artists are invited to submit work for exhibition alongside members of the Royal Society of British Artists at their Annual Exhibition 2022.

The Royal Society of British Artists invites painters, sculptors and printmakers to submit their work for consideration to be shown in the Society’s Annual Exhibition 2022. As well as skill and draughtsmanship, they will be looking for originality and creativity. This presents the opportunity to exhibit your work at a prestigious London gallery alongside well-established artists and have your work seen by thousands of visitors, including buyers and collectors.

Open Call for Submissions to Marvelous Art Magazine November Issue No : 19

Marvelous Art Magazine is now accepting art and writing submissions for our November(19th Issue) from October 14th, until November 13th 2021. It will be published on our website on November 15th. And we will promote all participation artists on Instagram and our Website for one month. This Issue asks writers and artists to create works that examine their Artworks.

Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium: painting, drawing, writing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film (only jpg + link to video) etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.

Derwent Art Prize 2022 - Now Calling for Entries

Created in 2012 by Derwent, the fine art brand internationally renowned for its high-quality pencils, the Derwent Art Prize rewards excellence in contemporary graphic art. 

The Prize invites artists to submit the very best 2D and 3D artworks created in any pencil, including colour, water soluble, pastel, graphite and charcoal pencils.

Approximately 80 artworks will be selected for a show at gallery@oxo in London from 24th February to 6th March 2022.

Prizes totalling over £12,500 will be awarded in a private awards ceremony on the opening night of the exhibition.

The UK Coloured Pencil Society Announces 20th Anniversary Gala Exhibition

The UK Coloured Pencil Society (UKCPS) has promoted coloured pencils as a fine art medium, supported artists who use them, and championed the art of drawing for 20 years.

To celebrate this milestone year, members of the UKCPS invited creatives from around the world to exhibit alongside them in their 20th Anniversary Gala Exhibition.

The exhibition will be open from Thursday 14 to Sunday 24 October at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, London, every day from 11am to 6pm and will be free to visit. 

The prizes will include the Best Picture Award, worth £1,000, the Runner Up, £500, and the Colored Pencil Society of America Award for Excellence, $500.
