Call for Artists - Average Art 36 (July 2019)

Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Our goal is to draw attention to self representing artists. We are now taking entries for the July edition of Average Art Magazine.

Brief: send us a large digital image of your work. Also send us any information you think is relevant. Any text needs to be kept brief as we get hundreds of submissions.

POUND COMPETITION

Art competition looking for artwork submissions in any medium from UK artists.

Pound has been established as an experiment to see if a micro-scale art funding project can exist from the change in our pockets. Pound is an art competition open to everyone and anyone. It is intended as a means of encouraging art projects and artistic experimentation. We want to see everything and anything - new ideas, concepts, uncompleted works, and gallery pieces!

INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR ART, ArtMaze Magazine Summer Edition: Issue 13

Art Maze Magazine is an independent artist-run and ad-free international print and online publication dedicated to showcasing and promoting experimental and progressive contemporary art, which reflects modern society and its environment, provokes conversation and action; fosters innovation and diversity of mediums which make today’s art scene so intriguing and versatile.

ELIGIBILITY: Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film (only jpg + link to video) etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.

Artists or any art organisations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration.

Along with putting on in-house events, Poplar Union have two great multi-functional, high spec spaces available to hire. Betty, the large studio space, and Mike, the meeting room, can be used for rehearsals, meetings, launches, film and photography shoots and much more.

Hire a space at Poplar Union and you’ll also have the option to make use of our excellent general facilities: our in-house café, e5 Roasthouse; catering*; showers; lockers; baby change facilities; and full disabled access.

LCA Prize 2019

The London Contemporary Art Prize aims to discover artists who have yet to establish a profile on the contemporary London art scene. The Prize will promote artists working in one or more of the following media: drawing, painting, printing, sculpture, photography, digital art.

After the success of previous years, we look forward again to receiving the wide diversity of work from entrants across the world.
