We welcome entries from professional and emerging artists based locally, nationally, and internationally. There are five prizes to be won, including £1,000 First Prize, £500 Second Prize, £250 Third Prize, £250 Student Prize, and a 2026 RBSA Gallery Solo Show Prize. Creative Living - An exploration of performance in the every day

IBA in collaboration with OPA (The Open Performance Academy, NL) are looking for performance artists, theorists, and writers to submit work in response to the theme ‘Creative Living.’

Set to be published in an experimental publication, the theme aims to explore the methodological practice of using Performance to explore alternative ways of engaging with the world.

The publication will emerge as an instruction manual of sorts, in which each artist may provide a cohesive walk through of their engagement with creative living in a step-by-step guide.

Entries may include performance documentation as well as written form such as essays, prose, poetry and experimental literature that engages with the theme.

D Contemporary Open Call and Award

The D Contemporary Open Call and Award is designed to provide emerging and early mid-career artists of all ages and nationalities with the opportunity to showcase their work while receiving support to develop and enhance their practice within our contemporary art gallery in London.

Finalists of the open call will participate in a group exhibition at our Mayfair gallery and benefit from press exposure. Additionally, one winner will receive a solo exhibition, dedicated mentorship, and extensive press coverage in 2025/2026.
