Phase 2 is now open for applications.

Royal Society of Portrait Painters| OPEN CALL 2024

Artists are invited to submit work for exhibition alongside members of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the RP Annual Exhibition 2024.

The Royal Society of Portrait Painters invites artists from all over the world to submit portraits for its Annual Exhibition in 2024. Selected artists will have their work exhibited in a prestigious showcase at Mall Galleries, London, at which a number of works will sell and a number of commissions will be placed.

Open Call submission deadline: Friday 26 January 2024, 12 noon.

The total prize fund is £40,000, including The William Lock Portrait Prize (£20,000) and The Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture (£10,000).

&Gallery Open Call

&Gallery is excited to announce our first ever Open Call. We invite artists living and working from the UK and worldwide to submit their artwork for consideration in a group exhibition during April 2024. The selected works will be carefully curated in a physical group exhibition at &Gallery in Edinburgh.

Maximum artwork per submission: 2

Artists can complete more than one submission form
