Age of the Bimbo

Woman Made Gallery is seeking submissions for our July - September, 2022 group exhibition juried by melissa mursch-rodriguez (she/her) (artist, curator, and founder of Moody Zine). This exhibition will be held at Woman Made Gallery located at 2150 S. Canalport Ave., Chicago, IL 60608 in the Pilsen neighborhood. 

EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION

Woman Made Gallery seeks artworks in any medium that celebrates the bimbo -- exploring hyper-femininity as a tool for empowerment and putting self-pleasure first.

Shades of Green 2022 | Virtual Competition with Award Exhibition

We are looking for Shades of Green in any style or subject matter.  The art may have other colors, but the theme color "Green" must be prominent and/or the focal point of the artwork. The jurors will be looking for originality, quality of work and technical skill.  Mediums to be considered include: Colored Pencil, Encaustic, Mixed Media, Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor, Airbrush, Digital Art and Photography. Please inquire if you have another medium outside of this scope of mediums.
 

Call for Art-WABI-SABI

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to our online exhibit, WABI-SABI.

Digital Art Open Call

The world of digital art is rapidly advancing to new heights of creativity! During this exhibit ART 321 hopes to highlight a variety of digital art, including printed forms and pieces that stay in the digital realm such as AR and video. Printed versions of digital work, digital files, video, animation are all welcome. If you have any questions on what you are able to submit email marketing@art321.org. Deadline is March 18th, 2022.

Wearables Open Call

ART 321 invites artists to submit up to 3 full ensembles or 4 individual pieces. Works will be displayed as an exhibit on mannequins before and after the fashion show. Photos of modeled work and short native about the pieces are welcome alongside the exhibit. Traditional wear, fashion, costumes, jewelry are all accepted! Have a question on what you can enter? Email marketing@art321.org! We invite the artists to include a short narrative (3-10 sentences) on how does what you wear express your cultural and or creative identity?

Artists are invited to participate in the Fashion Show April 7th at 6pm. More details will be provided as the date grows closer.

Open Call for The Flat Files

The Flat Files is a growing virtual archive of artist conversations highlighting the diverse mediums and subject matter often over looked in the art world. In addition to these conversations, interviewee’s will have a platform to share their studio space, where ideas and creativity happen regardless if it's your bedroom or a professional space.

  • Artists 18 years and older are eligible to apply
  • National and international artists are eligible to apply
