Call for Art: Myths & Magic Exhibition in Partnership with the Lakes Area Music Festival

The Crossing Arts Alliance, in partnership with the Lakes Area Music Festival, invites artists to submit original works for a special exhibition celebrating LAMF's 2025 season theme: Myths & Magic. We seek original artwork that captures the wonder, fantasy, and enchantment of fairy tales like Hänsel & Gretel and the supernatural essence of epic sagas like The Lord of the Rings. Selected works will be displayed at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts from July 26 – August 17, 2025, alongside the festival’s world-class musical performances. The deadline to submit artwork is July 1, 2025

Please note that while this call is open nationwide in the USA, priority consideration will be given to artists based in Minnesota.

Call for entries: Art In The Windows Presented by the Carriage Barn Arts Center

The Carriage Barn Arts Center and The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce are seeking artists to showcase in New Canaan store windows, and to participate in a downtown celebration of the arts. Artists may submit up to three pieces which may be selected for display and sale in one of New Canaan’s premier retail windows. All sizes are welcome, but take into consideration that many stores have limited window space so smaller pieces are easier to place.  Any medium is welcome, including sculpture.  The designation of artwork in the stores is at the discretion of the director and the Art in the Windows committee. Virtual Gallery: In addition to downtown store windows, artwork will also be featured through an online virtual gallery and social media campaigns.

ScreenDance RoadShow
