"Wabi-sabi: Beauty in Imperfection" - Free Entry, $1,000 Award Competition

Blue Space Gallery - "Wabi-sabi: Beauty in Imperfection", an international competition and virtual exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their medium and style. Submissions should revolve around the central theme of "Wabi-sabi: Beauty in Imperfection”. Entry is free; only those artists whose submissions are chosen as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased in the online exhibition and will advance to the final jurying round in consideration for cash prizes and the opportunity to win the grand prize of $1,000. Awards will be granted to those whose work demonstrates the greatest level of creativity and artistry.

Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their preferred media and style. The competition's theme is "Dreamscapes". The competition's theme is "Open," allowing participants to express their creativity by submitting artworks on any subject matter of their choice. Finalists will have their artwork showcased online and advance to the final round of judging, where they will be considered for cash prizes, including the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000.

Art and Color 365 Magazine - 2024 Open Art Competition

Art and Color 365, a bi-monthly digital and print art magazine, announces its 2024 Open Art Competition. Artwork by the winners and award recipients in the competition will be featured in our Winter issue; publication date: February 2024. Entries will be accepted through January 28, 2024.

Entry Fee and Rules
The entry fee is $25.00 for up to three pieces of art. (Unlimited entries allowed.) Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Open to artists worldwide.

WOODSTOCK BYRDCLIFFE GUILD RESIDENCY - WOODSTOCK, NY - OPEN CALL FOR SUMMER 2022

The Byrdcliffe Arts Colony Artists-in-Residence Program (AiR) offers uninterrupted time and space for creatives in all disciplines. Our serene and rustic mountain community is 2.5 hours north of NYC in Woodstock NY with residencies open to individuals and co-applicants at all stages of their career. Byrdcliffe’s AiR program is particularly beneficial to those who find it restorative to live in a community environment surrounded by natural beauty. PROUD+

PROUD+ 2020 is the third national edition of visual arts exhibition running from July 3 – 25, 2020 at The Studio Door(San Diego, CA). The exhibition runs concurrent with San Diego Pride month.  Includes "in gallery" and "online only" exhibition choices.

An artist reception is scheduled for July 11th, 2020 at 6 – 9 PM.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and other community artists (LGBTQIA+) are encouraged to present contemporary works that celebrate the unique sense of pride that this diverse community has.  The Studio Door is seeking artwork that expresses authentic, diverse viewpoints from the LGBTQIA+ experience.  Show us what your Pride looks like.
