We are excited to announce ART ON LOOP - NEW YORK 2023, and invite artists from all countries to submit their works for consideration. This exhibition is open to all mediums, including but not limited to painting, photography, printmaking, video art, installation, films, sculpting, mixed media, poems, illustration, and more. The theme for the exhibition is OPEN, giving you the freedom to submit any work that aligns with your artistic vision.

 

For digital artworks, such as digital illustrations, digital photography, or video art, simply submit the work as is.

For physical artworks, such as canvases or sculptures, we require either photo or video documentation.

 

6th Midwest Open

The Midwest Open is an annual exhibition at WMG that highlights women and non-binary artistic excellence from the Midwest. According to the United States Census Bureau, the 12 states in the Midwest include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This exhibition puts forth the vibrancy, diversity, and strong feminist voice right here in the Heartland. 

As a juried exhibition, each iteration of the Midwest Open offers applicants the unique opportunity to have their work reviewed by esteemed arts professionals and industry connectors. 

Tickled Pink: A Collection of Artworks Surrounding Joy, Humor, and Color | A Virtual Exhibition

Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is seeking entries for Tickled Pink: A Collection of Artworks Surrounding Joy, Humor, and Color, a virtual group exhibition open to women and non-binary artists. Entries are curated by Veronica Clements. Artists may submit up to three works plus an artist statement related to the exhibition theme. ALL accepted works with statements will be viewable online.

Open Calls for Artists and Curators

CUE’s annual open call provides emerging and underrepresented artists and curators the opportunity and necessary resources to realize an exhibition at CUE’s storefront gallery space on West 25th Street in Manhattan, New York City.

Each year, the open call awards three opportunities for solo exhibitions and one opportunity to organize a curatorial group show at CUE. Each awardee will be paired with a mentor, an established artist or curator who will work with them throughout the process of conceptualizing and planning their exhibition.

We invite you to tag your favorite artist(s) below or submit your own artwork.

The Curatorial Program for Research (CPR) is pleased to announce its Open Call for artists to participate in Hello New York 2023 (HNY 2023). CPR’s professional development program is an ideal opportunity for artists who wish to become connected in the extremely competitive art world ecosystem of New York City. During a period of two weeks, artists participate—free of charge—in workshops led by art professionals and local artists, get involved through community engagement, receive mentorship, and expand their peer networks.
