Spanish Harlem Creative Movement Fest

Spanish Harlem Creative Movement Fest is a dance festival that celebrates the culture of Latinos in America, and their place in it, reflecting the diversity that Latin America culture embodies. It will feature six dance artists with hybrid choreographic practices, who hold the stories of lived cultural experiences of Latinos in America. Those danced stories will give life to the visual power of storytelling, unfolding emotions in motion with performative elements. September 2022. Open call from April 04 to May 10 (check Guidelines and application on our web site).

Spanish Harlem or El Barrio, it is one of the largest predominantly Hispanic communities in New York City.

5-50 Gallery Open Call - Winter / Spring 2022

5-50 Gallery is inviting all artists to apply to our Open Call! All submissions will be considered for various exhibitions coming season. 

Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium. Please upload 3 – 5 images, information on the works you are submitting, your Artist Statement and Resume. 

Works need to be ready to hang, and works on paper must be framed. Artist are responsible for delivery of work to and from the gallery.

We are putting out a call to new members.

For forty-seven years, from Soho to Chelsea, Pleiades Gallery has spotlighted artistic movements and artists notable for creating work that crosses genres and borders, generational contexts and disciplines.

We seek out and welcome new members who continuously refresh our high standards and uphold and explore our vision.

Are you a Pleiades artist?

A spirit of commitment to its artists and their art has always been a cornerstone of the gallery. Throughout the year we host solo shows, curated group shows and juried shows.

OPEN CALL 2022: Two Solo Exhibitions at OyG Projects

Ortega y Gasset Projects is pleased to announce an Open Call for TWO Solo Exhibitions to open in September of 2022: one in the main gallery space at OyG and one in The Skirt, OyG's dedicated space for site-specific installations.  Both opportunities will include an opening reception on Saturday, September 10, 2022, $750 honorarium for each artist/proposal, and one programmed event (an artist talk or a closing event), and will be promoted on all OyG social media outlets.
