20th Annual Sculpture Garden Exhibit - Call for Entries

 Arts Council Wichita Falls opens the 20th annual Sculpture Garden exhibit at the Kemp Center for the Arts on May 11, 2024. All forms of outdoor sculpture will be considered, provided it meets the requirements of the prospectus. The juror for this event is noted Texas sculptor Sharon Kopriva (sharonkopriva.com).

10th Annual Cowboy True Art Exhibition

The Arts Council Wichita Falls and Cowboy True Committee are excited to announce the Call For Entries for our 2021 Cowboy True Art exhibition.

The Mission of Cowboy True is to educate the region about the honor, art, and beauty of the cowboy’s daily life. Cowboy True is a celebration to honor working cowboys and the artwork that comes from their daily lives.

The exhibit will be held on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the JS Bridwell Ag Center in Wichita Falls, TX. There will be a live and digital component to this exhibition.

17th Annual Sculpture Garden Exhibit

The Arts Council Wichita Falls' year-long Sculpture Garden Exhibition at the Kemp Center for the Arts is in its 17th year. The juror will accept 10 pieces for exhibition. Artwork is exhibited for 12 months.  In addition to installation stipends, there are three cash prizes awarded by the juror/judge at the time of installation.

All forms of outdoor sculpture will be considered, provided it meets the requirements of the prospectus.  The exhibit space surrounds a public building; artwork will be placed throughout the site at the sole discretion of the contracted installer and Arts Council staff. The juror for this event is Waco artist Robbie Barber.  Mr. Barber's resume and work can be seen on his website here: robbiebarber.com.

15th Annual Sculpture Garden Exhibition

The year-long Art On The Green Sculpture Garden Exhibition at The Kemp Center for the Arts is in its 15th year. The juror will accept between 8 and 10 pieces for exhibition. Artwork is exhibited for 12 months.  In addition to installation stipends, there will be three cash prizes awarded by the juror/judge at the time of installation.

All forms of outdoor sculpture will be considered, provided it meets the requirements of the prospectus.  The exhibit space surrounds a public building; artwork will be placed throughout the site at the sole discretion of the contracted installer and Arts Council staff.
