- What sets Martin Sky Art Management apart from other art management firms?

Martin Sky Art Management stands apart by combining a strong background in business development with innovative strategies, including collaborations with the ArtTech sector. At the same time, I deeply understand each artist and their story before representing them, ensuring a tailored and authentic approach. We also provide an all-in-one experience: artists receive guidance from top-tier mentors, such as Virgili Barbabara at our atelier, while collectors and enthusiasts benefit from educational tours, a private gallery for personalized experiences at studio46barcelona.com, and opportunities for collaboration and exhibitions both in Barcelona and abroad— all while preserving each artist's unique essence.

 Om Barbabra, La Tormenta

- Could you share some insights about the artists you are currently working with? What drew you to collaborate with them?

We are proud to exhibit these talented artists at Kufa Gallery in Wynwood, Miami. I carefully choose collaborators based on a few key elements: a compelling story and history that can inspire others, mastery of their craft paired with a dedication to growth, and the personal qualities and spirit needed to continually evolve as artists.

  • Juliana Plexxo: Her work revives the art of engraving, creating a unique bridge between European and Latin cultures, especially the indigenous traditions of Latin America. Her art conveys a message of respect for nature, life, and women, making a profound social impact in the 21st century.
  • Om Barbabra: A third-generation artist, Om delves into the connection between body and soul. His journey is one of heritage and introspection, consistently pushing boundaries to create meaningful and transformative work.
  • Cory James Jacobsen: A self-taught artist from the graffiti scene of Northern California, now based in Los Angeles, Jacobsen’s work embodies transformation and duality. His creations fuse urban culture with European artistic traditions, telling a story of resilience and reinvention while exploring themes of identity, introspection, and self-expression.

These artists’ dedication, talent, and authentic narratives align perfectly with our vision, making them an integral part of our exhibitions and collaborations.

 Juliana Plexxo, Peces Terrenales

- You organized an event for Juliana Plexo during Miami Art Week. Can you tell us about the inspiration and vision behind that event?

Juliana Plexxo has been a part of Miami Art Week for five years, and this year, we secured a unique opportunity for her to exhibit at Proyecto Kufa in Wynwood, an artistic hub fostering creative dialogue and cultural exchange. Led by Rommey Bahhur (Baba), Proyecto Kufa is a vital space for both emerging and established artists, set against the backdrop of a stunning 600m² mural by Vincent Abadie Hafez (Zepha), blending Eastern and Western influences.

This event highlighted Juliana’s mission to honor nature, life, and women through her art, perfectly aligning with Proyecto Kufa’s vision of enriching the global art scene.

- What exciting projects or collaborations are you working on next?

We’re currently working on several exciting projects. The main one is Juliana Plexxo’s Real Gold collection, which highlights her unique artistic vision. We’re also developing the ART WE TRUST project in collaboration with SmartStamp from Zurich, aimed at revolutionizing the art market. Additionally, we’re connecting with collectors worldwide to invite them to visit Studio 46 Barcelona and become part of our cultural hub. On top of that, we’re planning a new exhibition for Cory James Jacobsen in Miami, Los Angeles, and Barcelona, further expanding his presence in key art cities.
