BAC 2024 Fall Multidisciplinary Residency

Bethany Arts Community (BAC) offers residencies to emerging and established artists for the development of both new works and works-in-progress. BAC welcomes artists working across any discipline and medium, including visual artists, sculptors, writers, playwrights, choreographers, musicians, composers, performance artists, filmmakers, and more to our Fall Multidisciplinary Residency. Any and all artistic mediums are encouraged to apply. Enjoy an environment where artists from different disciplines and walks of life can work in community and near each other, creating opportunities for generative collaboration and cross-pollination.

Milano and Catania off Fringe festivals unite in a single call for artists, Fringe Italia Off!

Are you an artist, company, or performer?

Apply for your show at Fringe Italia OFF, the two festivals spread from north to south. You can participate in one or both  of our Fringe Festivals:

> MILANO OFF FRINGE FESTIVAL - 6th Edition 26 SEPTEMBER - 6 OCTOBER 2024

> CATANIA OFF FRINGE FESTIVAL - 3rd Edition 17 – 27 OCTOBER 2024

A Multidisciplinarity showcase of national and international importance.

Several performance categories from the national and international fringe theater scene will be admitted.

Call for Submissions: HERE SubletSeries Co-Op

Co-Ops are special HERE presentations as part of HERE’s curated SubletSeries@HERE rental program, which provides artists with subsidized space and equipment and a technical liaison. This hybrid performance series offers bold artists space for up to one week for 1-2 technical rehearsals and 2-6 performances in our 98-seat Mainstage and 69-seat Dorothy B. Williams (DOT) Theaters.

This program aims to support the artistic process by providing artists with much-needed resources to put practice into action. Co-Op presentations are curated through an open application process and occur 1-2 times a year when our scheduling allows.

Applications for 2024 are open from March 1 until March 29 at 12pm.

Istanbul Fringe Festival 2024

Istanbul Fringe Festival 2024 will welcome dance, performance and theater shows as well as workshops, talks and parties. The festival will offer both local and international artists a physical platform to showcase their works. This is a great opportunity for artists to meet and interact between themselves and the audience, exchange ideas while discovering a new artistic network.

What we offer to the selected artists:

 

- Transportation from and to the airport in Istanbul

- Meal on the day of your performance

- Venue, technical support* and promotion

- 300€ / show – 400€ / 2 shows (if on the same day) – 500€ / 2 shows (if not on the same day)

Auditions for The Exonerated

GovState Theatre and Performance Studies presents... The Exonerated by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen

Directed by Patrick Santoro

Performance dates: April 4 - 7 at Governors State University's Sherman Hall

 

ABOUT THE PLAY:

The Exonerated combines first-person narrative with letters, transcripts, case files, and legal records to tell the stories of six wrongfully convicted survivors of death row: Delbert Tibbs, Kerry Max Cook, Gary Gauger, David Keaton, Robert Earl Hayes and Sunny Jacobs, and their paths to freedom.
