Series 11 : Curatorial Review Catalogue Publication Edition (No Fees)

No application, publication, participation, or selection fees. No fees.

For each catalogue edition, up to six artists are selected for detailed curatorial review essays, written by the curator.

The fusion of art and science is evident in botanical illustrations, a practice dating back to the 1st Century B.C. The Victorian era saw Pre-Raphaelite artists infusing their work with intricate botanical symbolism, while Vincent Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings stand as timeless icons in the art world.

Reproductive rights org Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is currently running an art contest with a $1500 first prize and two $250 runners-up prizes. The art should promote the website You Always Have Options.com, a hub for safe abortion options in the USA. The contest is open to anyone internationally.

Our call for art for the 17th Share Prize is now open!
Share Festival has almost twenty years of events behind it. it is the first and longest-running contemporary technology art festival in Italy.  Under the artistic direction of cyberpunk writer Bruce Sterling, it is established as a platform strongly rooted in the territory of Turin and Piedmont.

The theme chosen for this year is Tomorrow Now: The Art of 2050 AD. Six artworks will be selected and exhibited at Share Festival 19th. Among these, the artwork that is deemed most representative of the annual theme will be awarded a prize.
