A SHOW OF HEADS is a thematic group exhibition of work that includes and is based on the portrayal, interpretation and/or transformation of the human head. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, October 12 - November 4, 2023 and is open for entry to all artists working in any media. Entry deadline July 31. Strange Figurations

Strange Figurations is an international, thematic group exhibition curated and hosted by the Limner Gallery. The exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept, Strange Figurations, which would include surreal, visionary and generally all out of the ordinary figurative art. The show is open to all media, techniques and styles from realist to expressionistic. 72" maximum dimension. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, September 7 - 30, 2023. About The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS and Our Mission
The Healing Power of ART & ARTIST is an initiative of Manhattan Arts International, based in NYC, NY. We believe ART has the power to heal, inspire, provoke, and challenge. We raise awareness about how art is a catalyst for positive change and enhances the well-being of individuals, society and the environment through our artist membership gallery, online art exhibitions and articles.

A Day at the Park: Michigan State Parks

The Northville Art House is seeking original artwork depicting a Michigan State Park by U.S. artists, 18 and older. Parks include Michigan State Parks & Recreation Areas derived at Michigan DNR Website and Huron-Clinton MetroParks. 

Eligibility: Artists may submit up to 3 ORIGINAL works created within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the Northville Art House. Representational and abstraction accepted. 

Artwork: The maximum size of all artworks including the frame is 32” in any direction.

Jurors: The Northville Art House Exhibition Committee 

SUMMER SHOW

We are excited to announce an open call for artists to submit their work for consideration in our upcoming SUMMER SHOW. We welcome submissions from London based artists of all backgrounds, mediums and experience levels; including painting, photography, prints and illustration. The theme of this exhibition/event is open, giving you the freedom to submit any work up to an A3 and A2 size.

There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us.

If selected to participate in the show, we ask for a donation of £125 per artist - not per artwork - as long as it doesn’t exceed the size of an A3 or A2. All donations go towards operational activities for the exhibition.

OPEN CALL FOR PERFORMANCE ARTISTS

The MindAIness performance art open call explores the intersection of art, technology, and ethics, with a focus on the mindful consideration of AI in society. The event aims to spark conversations about the ethical considerations surrounding AI development and use, highlighting the potential benefits and drawbacks of AI. 

Performances will explore themes such as the relationship between AI and human emotions and experiences, the impact of AI on society and the environment, and gendered power dynamics in AI's impacts.
