Annual Juried Regional Show: Beyond Comfort

Beyond Comfort invites artists to express their perception of beauty and/or the grotesque in contemporary art and society.  This show allows artists to define and explore aesthetics while joining the long debated concept of beauty and its function in art.

Juror: Virginia Shearer, Executive Director, Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design.

New Born | Artist Open Call

A Space is pleased to announce the open call for "new born," where we aim to celebrate the multifaceted themes of newborns, spiritual essence, nature, and the rejuvenating energy of renewal.

Capture the ethereal essence of new life, the spiritual dimensions surrounding birth, the interconnectedness with nature, and the refreshing energy that marks the start of something new. This open call encourages artists to explore the harmonious connections between the innocence and vulnerability of newborns, the spiritual depth inherent in life's beginnings, the influence of nature, and the revitalizing energy of renewal.

Open to all visual art forms, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, mixed media, and installations.

Digital Art, Assemblage and Hand Cut Paper Collage II

 Digital Art, Assemblage and Hand Cut Paper Collage II - This exhibition will focus on the various forms of digital art, paper collage and 3D assemblage. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from June 20 - July 13, 2024. Entry is open to all forms of digital art, paper collage, assemblages and combinations thereof. Work Medium: 2D Works - All Visual Arts

Work Size: Up to 100m x 100cm

Requirements:

· All works must be artist’s original works and copyright.

· To ensure security in displaying, the work size must be up to

100cm x 100cm, including frame and hanging hardware.

· All works must be suitably framed and ready for installation.

(Canvas or Framed).

· Please submit high resolution images as a form of JPG or JPEG.

Do not send captured images.

· Provide a short description of your work (350 words maximum).

· Provide your artist statement (500 words maximum), CV, social media

and your website address.
