Exhibition Dates: May 1-15, 2021  

Opening Reception: Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6-9pm  

Dacia Gallery is pleased to announce that we have a new location. We have moved from our original location for the past ten years in the Lower East Side, to the East Village of NYC on 11th Street and Ave. B. 

Be the first artist to have a Solo Show at our new gallery space in the East Village.

VISUAL SPACE ANNOUNCES AN OPEN CALL FOR ITS SPRING EXHIBITION!

The online platform Visual Space is excited to announce an Open Call for its Spring
exhibition (open-themed exhibition) and wants to invite artists from all over the world to
submit their proposed work!
The exhibition will be on display from the 10th of May until the 21st of June.
The deadline for applications is on the 15th of April.

Who's Going To Stop Me?

Throughout history, throughout a lifetime, and even throughout a day, the roles and perceptions of a woman have, and continue, to drastically change. From mother, caregiver, healer, leader, and warrior, to victim, scapegoat, and target. Women are boundary-pushers, commanders, and glass ceiling breakers. We hope artists will capture the complexities of what it means to be a woman, and are invited to use personal experiences in their work and share them with our audience. Show us where you have been, where you are, and/or where you’re hoping to go.

PERSIST, PERSEVERE, BE - INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

IncuArts invites artists to submit work for Persist, Persevere, Be- an exhibition exploring ideas related to perseverance in the face of discrimination. Persecution can come in the form of discrimination based on gender, culture, race, sexual orientation, disabilities and more. For this exhibition, we ask artists to respond to this topic. How has persecution affected you? Your work? How have you persevered? Is being an act of defiance? Is your work the proof of perseverance? 

Women, BIPOC, LGBTQA+, and other community members who embody this experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Artists of all media are encouraged to apply.
