Curatory is accepting submissions for our upcoming issue. We’re looking for artists to showcase their work.

Submit up to 6 pieces that represent your artistic vision.

Selected artists will be showcased both online and in print, along with an interview or an artist feature. This open call is open to all visual artists, regardless of background or experience level.

If you create art in any medium—painting, photography, sculpture, digital art, or beyond—we encourage you to apply.

OPEN CALL "DATING ALIENS"

This year, we’re launching an OPEN CALL to connect with two new artistic positions. Under the theme DATING ALIENS, we’ll be landing at PARALLEL VIENNA (10–14 September 2025), and we’re inviting you to shape the space with us in a collaborative exhibition.

What does DATING ALIENS mean in our context? Following last year’s theme, New Encounters, we want to continue discovering new things and developing fresh ideas, whatever or whoever they may be. Dating Aliens embraces the unfamiliar, the mystique, and the unexpected.

Recognizing that excellence exists in various forms in the design industry, the NY Product Design Awards intends to celebrate excellence in all its facets that are found in design work and its designers.

A well-thought-out design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and all-in-all improves one’s daily life. Said designs can stem from different people’s personal projects, commercial engagements or researches. To the NY Product Design Awards, these are the individuals we wish to honor.

Open Call for Pride Market Vendors

Applications due: June 4th, 2025 @ 11:59pm

Contracommon's Pride Market, in partnership with Double Trouble and City of Austin Economic Development Office, will be hosted at Double Trouble (103 N Loop Blvd E, Austin, TX 78751) on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 11am - 3pm. *There are no application fees or vendor fees for this market.*

We will only be accepting a few vendors due to space constraints, we may host additional pride markets throughout this year at other locations.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT!

Vendor Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm on Monday, June 4th, 2025.
Applicants will be notified on or before June 9th, 2025.
