2025 NY Product Design Awards: Season 2

The NY Product Design Awards: Season 2 was launched to honor the efforts of talented product designers, design teams, and manufacturers from all over the world, whose designs have made daily living that much better with their practical and ingenious creations.

Recognizing that excellence exists in various forms in the design industry, the NY Product Design Awards intends to celebrate excellence in all its facets that are found in design work and its designers.

A well-thought-out design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and all-in-all improves one’s daily life. Said designs can stem from different people’s personal projects, commercial engagements or researches. To the NY Product Design Awards, these are the individuals we wish to honor.

Open Call for Pride Market Vendors

Applications due: June 4th, 2025 @ 11:59pm

Contracommon's Pride Market, in partnership with Double Trouble and City of Austin Economic Development Office, will be hosted at Double Trouble (103 N Loop Blvd E, Austin, TX 78751) on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 11am - 3pm. *There are no application fees or vendor fees for this market.*

We will only be accepting a few vendors due to space constraints, we may host additional pride markets throughout this year at other locations.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT!

Vendor Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm on Monday, June 4th, 2025.
Applicants will be notified on or before June 9th, 2025.

Call for Applications: $50,000 Prize Open to Immigrants Working in Fashion Fields

The Vilcek Foundation will award six $50,000 prizes to young immigrant professionals who have demonstrated exceptional early career achievements in the fields of Fashion & Design and Fashion & Culture. The Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Fashion are open to designers, material innovation experts, makeup artists, hair stylists, environmental and technology designers, writers, researchers, curators, stylists, and image makers. Applications are open now through June 9, 2025.
