Entry: $35 for up to 3 images that goes to Cafe or Submittable

Works chosen for in gallery will have a $20 wall rent charge each piece - online only no charge  

 Commission: 65% Artist, 35% Gallery

For this exhibition Las Laguna Art Gallery is looking for small works with big impact. There is no intended theme for the work; it just needs to fit the criteria of being “small art”. All mediums and subjects accepted. No works over 16 inches on either side, including frame.

ARTISTIC RESIDENCIES – Open Call

Contextile 2026 will host two Public Art Residencies as part of its programme, from 10th August to 5th September 2026, in Guimarães, Portugal.

We therefore invite all interested artists to apply and submit a proposal for an artistic project to be developed and produced in one of these residencies. In this edition, the artistic residencies will focus on the production of works of art and/or public art projects to be implemented in the public spaces indicated below.   

EC2 Open Call

We’re inviting local artists and creatives from the EC2 postcode area to submit work for our upcoming community exhibition at The Photobook Café, running 15–18 January 2026.

Plicnik Crit Sessions 2026

Plicnik Space Initiative is hosting weekly critique sessions from 17 January to 21 February 2026. A small group of applicants will be invited to present their work and deliver critique once a week in a professional environment. These sessions are designed to support growth and critical dialogue among practicing artists that are not currently studying and are actively engaged in their careers. This platform is aimed at artists seeking to refine their work and build connections with peers in a professional context.
