Level Up Society

Arts Business Collaborative (ABC) is excited to announce an opportunity for art submissions for our first annual POC Art Auction Fundraiser! ABC invites emerging artists of color to submit 2D works of art to our group exhibition, “Level - Up Society.”

Inspired by the rules that govern gaming cultural (both tactile and virtual), ABC considers how the social contracts and consent required to play any game successfully acts as a microcosm for the way our larger social structures operate. ABC would like to oppose the rules that deny access, equity, and inclusion in support of a more equal playing field for people of color.

2nd Annual mind body spirit art show

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its mind body spirit online juried art exhibition.

Oscar Wilde said, "Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter."

Throughout history, the human figure has always been a common subject of visual art, involving the study and appreciation of it's beauty in it's depiction and presentation.  An awareness of the body shape, including postures like sitting, standing or sleeping and movements such as walking, running or dancing, speak to the ideal subject.

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL ART: LONDON GROUP EXHIBITION

Warbling invites international submissions of contemporary art for a curated group pop-up exhibition to be held in East Dulwich, London from the 22nd of August to the 2nd of September 2019.

The exhibition will be titled ‘Of course, I haven’t forgotten!’, it’s completely up to each artist submitting to come to their own conclusions on how the title might relate or sit nicely alongside their practice. It’s interesting to read different ideas and interpretations of our titles in the submissions form, however it is not obligatory to do so and often if a work stands out, it can be related in some way to the other works being considered within the exhibition as a whole.

Untitled: The exhibition where your audience names your work

SYNOPSIS: artlessBastard is calling for 2D & 3D works of art, in all mediums – excluding performance art or film – for the Sept. 2019 ‘Untitled’ large group exhibition. All work traditional or contemporary will be considered. For this special audience participation show, all works will be displayed ‘Untitled’ and each guest in our gallery will be asked to help name the individual works. (This show theme was suggested by a gallery customer and we loved the interactive concept!) What better way to survey viewers & find out what your piece evokes in them? Deadline to apply is August 1, 2019.
