Untitled: The exhibition where your audience names your work

SYNOPSIS: artlessBastard is calling for 2D & 3D works of art, in all mediums – excluding performance art or film – for the Sept. 2019 ‘Untitled’ large group exhibition. All work traditional or contemporary will be considered. For this special audience participation show, all works will be displayed ‘Untitled’ and each guest in our gallery will be asked to help name the individual works. (This show theme was suggested by a gallery customer and we loved the interactive concept!) What better way to survey viewers & find out what your piece evokes in them? Deadline to apply is August 1, 2019.

NXTHVN 2020 Studio and Curatorial Fellowships

Each year, NXTHVN welcomes seven emerging artists, two curators, and five high school apprentices to participate in its highly-competitive Fellowship and Apprenticeship programs. With a focus on mentorship, professional development, and hands-on training, the cohort works collaboratively to cultivate their practices within the context of New Haven’s creative community.

The NXTHVN team, with Deborah Berke Partners, has designed a unique shared environment—within a state-of-the-art facility—where artists, curators and the local community converge to make art, exchange ideas, and extend their networks.

Critical Feedback Program at Trestle

Trestle programs are designed to offer an alternative to the expense of higher education. The Trestle philosophy comes from a belief that artists can grow and learn from each other without the excessive student loans that can come with graduate work at larger institutions. With a studio in NYC, one of the biggest contemporary art meccas in the world, Trestle program participants have the ability to explore all that the city has to offer with a community of like minded individuals.

Trestle’s Critical Feedback Program participants work with art professionals who work in the “real” art world today, actively seeking and earning opportunities, with current information and relevant advice.

Who is this program ideal for?
