CON-TEMPORARY Art Observatorium accepts artists submissions to participate in the next exhibition season 2023-2024 featuring three group exhibitions at our CTAO exhibition room in Lavagna, Italy:

Next deadline: 30 November 2023 (flexible)
"Art of Freedom 2" - Group exhibition, free theme
2nd edition of the exhibition cycle and Best Art of Freedom recognition

Accepted artworks: bidimensional, wall installed, including video art; tridimensional with limitations

International participants may consider to avoid shipping costs and let us provide local printing for reproducible artworks and monitors for video artworks.

Showcase your work to a global audience.

We are now accepting submissions for our Virtual ‘HUMANITY’ Exhibition.

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work.

There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us.

[A small fee (£30) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition].

The team will review all applications and the selected works will be announced.

Eligibility: Painting, Photography, Ink, Drawing, Digital.

 

Open Call 2024 Exhibition Season

We are now accepting applications for our 2024 Exhibition Season. Each exhibition lasts one month, with a hard launch on First Friday - the first Friday of the month - where the entire arts district lights up for a gallery hop. We host regular community events and programming for our patrons, where your art will be the center of attention! We have soft openings on the first Thursday of the month for an intimate artist talk.

The Pastel Society | OPEN CALL

Calling all pastel artists!

The Pastel Society seeks the best in contemporary pastel and dry media, combining technical skill with creative originality for the Society's 125th Exhibition.

Submission deadline: Friday 24 November 2023 at 12 noon.

The Society accepts all types of pastel, chalk or crayon including soft pastels, hard pastels, oil pastels, ink pastels, water-based pastels, cont crayons or sticks, sanguine, and similar dry mediums including charcoal and pencil. Mixed media works are welcome where pastel or another dry media is the primary medium.
