Rock Band with Deerhoof

CAMP is a residential arts facility in the French Pyrenees. It's a place where great art is made, new movements are formed, new ideas are explored and groundbreaking people are nurtured. CAMP is located in Aulus les Bains, the last village before the France/Spain Pyrenean frontier chain. The location is spectacular - we are nestled at 750m above sea level, surrounded by snowcapped peaks over 3000m high, ancient forests and cascading waterfalls. There are eagles, lammergeiers, vultures, ibex and bears. Walk out of the residency, and within ten minutes you are completely alone in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Europe.

Człowiek! Tu byłem!

Wirtualne Muzeum Antropocenu announces an international open call for our first exhibition “Człowiek! Tu byłem!” (eng. Human was here!)

From November 26 – December 20, 2020 we invite artists — regardless of background, education and nationality to submit works to our inaugural exhibition.

“Człowiek! Tu byłem!” is a visual and conceptual exploration of the Anthropocene - the era of the human, its complexities and contradictions. What does it feel like? What does it sound like? What does it look and taste like? Engage your senses and dive into what it means to live in and experience the Antropocene.

All visual, literary, and sound works are welcome.

Out of Body

Out Of Body is an online exhibition about who we become when nobody's watching. It’s a response to our ever increasing sense of isolation and the discoveries we make about ourselves in the face of solitude. It’s a gathering of community in a time when we are forced apart. It’s a celebration of our diverse stories, a testament to our commonality, a recognition of our resilience. It’s a call out to the dreamers, to please never stop

The global appeal for distance and isolation in this pandemic has created a shift within us. Everything is different now. How we relate to our bodies. How we see our environment. How we connect with others. How we come to understand that perhaps we were already lonely, it was just drowned out by the din of the crowd.

Red Flamingo 2021 - call for exhibition projects

Do you have an exciting project and need a space to show it?

Are you fed up with restrictions, compromises, and other endless no’s, when setting up a gallery show?

Red Flaming project space is inviting artists to unleash their imagination, cross the threshold of two-dimensional creation, and step into spatial thinking. Set up an environment, an experience for the audience, aligned with your imagination...

Tell us your exhibition-project idea!

We are looking for courageous, short-term, site-specific, in situ ... projects; or as we call them arty experiences.

video art, sound art, performance, participatory art, visual art ... all welcome
