We are now accepting submissions for our Virtual Exhibition ‘‘PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION”

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work.

There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us. [A small fee (£28) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition].

The team will review all applications and the selected works will be announced.

Shades of Purple 2022 | International Juried Visual Arts Competition

Call for submissions into Camelback Gallery's annual competition.  All styles and all subject matter allowed. The artwork must have the color purple as a primary, secondary or point of interest. The jurors will be looking for originality, quality of work and technical skill. Mediums to be considered but not limited to: Colored Pencil, Encaustic, Mixed Media, Gouache, Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor, Airbrush, Fiber, Sculpture, Collage, Digital Art and Photography.

Shades of Green

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its Shades of Green online juried art exhibition.  

The color green holds true to its symbolism and stereotypes much of the time in fine art. It can be glitzy and glamorous, lush and lively, and sometimes sickly and threatening.

For this competition, artists are encouraged to challenge themselves and share their artistic vision and interpretation of the color green. The artwork can vary from realism to surrealism to abstraction, and all media are accepted, including 3-D. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best inspired work. For some inspiration, click here.

Mind Body Spirit

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its mind body spirit online juried art exhibition.  

Oscar Wilde said, "Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter."

Throughout history, the human figure has always been a common subject of visual art, involving the study and appreciation of it's beauty in it's depiction and presentation.  An awareness of the body shape, including postures like sitting, standing or sleeping and movements such as walking, running or dancing, speak to the ideal subject.

About The Residency
-Find inspiration among the forest as an artist in residence at Hotel Belmar-

Our Artist Residency Program offers local and international artists the opportunity to live at Hotel Belmar for a period of two to three weeks, for a space of dedicated creative work in our unique cloud forest location.

We welcome artists with a particular interest in nature; in the cultural realities of Monteverde; and/or in the particular social experience of a Hotel. Artists could be seeking to work in drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, performance or other art forms.
