Contemporary Art Gallery Online Announces an International Call for Artists to Participate in the 8th Annual 2021 “ALL Cityscape Art” Competition & Exhibition.

Contemporary Art Gallery Online has opened the “ALL Cityscape” Art Competition and Exhibition.  Entries are accepted   from February 22, 2021 to March 21, 2021.  Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field.  An exhibition of all entrants will be held online from March 24th to April 20th, 2021.  Artists should submit their best representational and non-representational art.  This competition will be judged within three categories:  Paintings/Drawings, Photography/Digital Art and Mixed Media/3-Dimentional Art.  To read the complete Prospectus:  https://www.contemporaryartgalleryonline.gallery/2021-art-competition-cityscape

Run by Nat Ware (@warenat on instagram), an artist raised in the Catholic Church and attended 12 years of Catholic schooling, Residual Believers was started as a platform for other artists whose work has been influenced by their experience with Catholicism. Whether you no longer believe, have a complicated relationship with your faith, or are somewhere in between, Residual Believers is a place to examine Catholicism, liberation theology, and personal stories of faith through art and writing. Residual Believers is a quarterly publication, both digital and print, that is open call, and takes submissions at residualbelievers@gmail.com.

From the Roman limes to today’s globalized world, borders may simultaneously play the role of bridge and barrier. Wanderings, nomadisms, pilgrimages, invasions, exiles, and colonization have turned the history of mankind into a history of migrations. Nowadays, the migration phenomena continue its course in its most tragic version. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the year 2019 ended with more than 1,200 migrants dying in the Mediterranean Sea and 110,000 arrivals to Europe, which is the sixth consecutive year of massive arrivals.

TWISTED

The Art Guild invites all artists, high school and older, to submit artworks for consideration for “TWISTED” a Juried Competition and Exhibition.   

Show us your twist on a great artist’s work!

Twisted will focus on your authentic creation that is inspired by a famous artist or artwork. All compositions must be original; whether you choose to reinterpret, pay homage to, or create a parody of… let’s see your best work!

No Master or direct copies accepted. No photography will be accepted in which the main concept is not your original photograph.  Please create something new and exciting!

Title of your work should be formatted as such:

(Your Title) inspired by (Artist and/or Artwork Title).

6x6x2021 - The International Small Art Phenomenon

Rochester Contemporary Art Center's (RoCo) international small art phenomenon returns for the 14th year!  6x6x2021 is made of thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Each artist may enter up to three artworks of any medium (2D or 3D). Artworks must be six inches square and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. Participation is free. All artworks will be exhibited and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names will be revealed to the buyer upon purchase and all artworks remain on display through July 18. Limit three artworks per school group (no limit for colleges). Thank you for your participation!
