Interior - Open Call for photographers - Collective exhibition in Berlin

Exhibition theme: INTERIOR

What does the interior of a space reveal about its inhabitants? Houses, offices, corridors, waiting rooms... inside spaces are never really neutral. They are built and used by humans with a certain intention or ideology, they are places where people meet, events take place, stories are created. Interior photography, even in the absence of any character, reveals more than what is represented, inviting to wonder what happened or will happen inside, but also outside of the frame. The depicted spaces become like still lives that serve as a tableau of the individual's inner life.

Artists are invited to submit 1 to 3 images embracing the theme.

CALL FOR ENTRY: FRESH 2019 ANNUAL SUMMER EXHIBITION

The FRESH Annual Summer Show, now in its 8th year, is produced and presented by the Klompching Gallery. Through an Open Call for submissions, up to five photographers are selected and curated into a group exhibition. A further ten photographers are highlighted as finalists.

The five exhibiting artists, are also shortlisted for the RHONDA WILSON AWARD, announced as a new initiative in 2017, in honor of Rhonda Wilson MBE (1953–2014).

What is FRESH looking for? We are looking for the very best examples of new contemporary fine art photography. We're looking for single bodies of work with a consistent vision and originality — photography that is FRESH!

Art and Conservation, call for participants

Calling paticipants for a collaborative residency between Sail Britain's creative programme and artist and conservationist Jazz Austin.

With the health of our oceans in the spotlight, this residency opportunity will be a chance to examine what part artists can play in protecting and celebrating an increasingly threatened natural environment, and to learn more about the wildlife and ecosystems of the Scottish coastline.

Title : COLORFUL DREAMER

People with dreams and ideals innovate themselves and, eventually, manage to change the world. That is presumably because one cannot fulfill a dream alone: one needs to communicate to the world. By presenting the artworks that showcase a wide array of individual dreams, it is our wish to create an opportunity where we can all remind ourselves the meaning of the dream in the age that is often criticized for the absence of true dreams and dreamers.​
