The National Association of Women Artists, Inc. is hosting a photography exhibit in the NAWA Gallery, 315 West 39th Street, Suite 508, New York, NY 10028 (September 11-October 2, 2019).  Reception is Thursday September 12, 2019 from 5-7pm.  Submission Deadline, July 26, 2019. Notification will go out by 8/7/19.  Maximum size including frame is 30" x 30" x 5". Artist Commission 70% and NAWA receives 30%. Cash awards for lst, 2nd, and 3rd prizes and two Honorale Mentiions ($150, $100, $75).  Please visit Show Submit.com for prospectus.

Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises

A garden of purple is always in bloom!

 

NYC4PA "Primary Colors" calls for entry have been some of our favorite contests. Though red, yellow and blue are, in fact, primary colors they not the not the only important hues out there for the color photographer. 

4th Annual Waterscapes Art Competition

Fusion Art invites submissions for the 4th Annual Waterscapes online art competition.

For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to share their best work depicting Waterscapes. The theme includes any art or photography which depicts any type of body of water including the ocean, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, etc. The theme includes coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas, beaches, and any related seashore or lakeside subjects. It can also include rain, puddles and frozen waterscapes.

The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational and/or nonrepresentational waterscapes art and photography.

WeTilt is an online art collective platform based in Rome looking for artists to

exhibit and sell their artwork on our website that will be launched in

August 2019.

 

This website has been created to promote museum quality

prints from independent artists encouraging their artistic value

while engaging the public to explore and collect artworks.

 

We are looking for amateur and professional independent

artists and photographers working all over the world to join

our collective.

 

There is not a specific theme for this call and all artworks will

SUMMER CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS -  INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CALL

This open call is seeking photographers exploring the joys of the summer months. We want you to send in a portfolio of your work, up to six images. These images can be themed around travel, landscape, cityscape, portraiture, nature or cultural - essentially a documentation of life throughout the summer.

This is an opportunity for both amateur and professional photographers to share their work and style through the platform of murze, all photography submitted will be featured across our website throughout the summer months, celebrating the medium of photography and capturing diversity and beauty through the lens of photographers from all around the globe.

Images submitted must be at least 300 DPI
