Call for entries “JIA Illustration Award 2025”

This is an illustration contest held once a year by the Japan Illustrators' Association, which invites entries from all over the world.
There will be a total prize money of 800,000 yen, 53 winners, and additional prizes.
Anyone can apply, regardless of whether they are professionals or amateurs.
Many people in the publishing and advertising industries are paying attention. 

Gene Carey Animal Shelter & Adoption Center Expansion Integrated Public Art, City of Lewisville, TX

The City of Lewisville, Texas is seeking qualifications from artists who wish to create a large-scale 3D work of art that can be integrated into an expansion being planned for the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.

Specifically, the City seeks an artist, or artist team, who can create a unique large-scale 3D work of art that can be architecturally integrated into the publicly accessible areas included in the expansion, including but not limited to the outside elevation of the facility. The art should relate to animals that may be available or serviced at the facility. The art should reflect the playful nature and positive emotional connections between pets and humans. Artists with experience creating immersive and interactive concepts are encouraged to apply.

A discovery guide for Ukraine

“A discovery guide for recovery” – a project co-funded by Creative Europe – has just launched an open call for six international artists (including two Ukrainians) interested in co-designing with Ukrainian communities a “non-touristic” guidebook on the present and future of Ukraine.  Applicants are called to design unconventional tours to discover the Ukrainian region of Bakota, in Western Ukraine, by involving the inhabitants in a process of recovering memories of the past, raising awareness on opportunities and problems of the present, foreseeing possible future scenarios.

2026 Embracing Our Differences International Art Exhibition

Embracing Our Differences invites artists worldwide to submit their unique perspectives for our juried outdoor exhibition. Featuring 50 powerful, billboard-sized images, this showcase explores the theme of “embracing our differences through thought-provoking art.

Selected works will be displayed across Sarasota and Pinellas counties, Florida, from mid-January to mid-April 2026, inspiring dialogue among thousands of visitors.

Bruce's Beach Public Art RFQ

The City of Manhattan Beach, CA has an important large-scale 3-D public art opportunity at Bruce's Beach. Artists with experience in durable public art installations are invited to apply. Black artists and those with a connection to the site are encouraged to apply.

Bruce’s Beach holds deep historical significance. Once a thriving Black-owned resort in the early 20th century, it was unjustly seized by the City of Manhattan Beach in the 1920s. The site has since been recognized for its importance in the ongoing dialogue about racia justice and reconciliation. The commissioned artwork will serve as a space for contemplation, acknowledgment, and community connection, contributing to the cultural and historical significance of the site.
