Abstract State Magazine, New York

Abstract State Magazine, is a brand-new art magazine based in New York. Our inaugural edition holds a special place in our hearts, as we seek to collaborate with artists who will accompany us on this thrilling journey.

All selected artists will be guaranteed a feature in either the submitted edition or the subsequent one if not initially included. The submission fee applies if you are 'selected'.

Although there is no specific theme for this issue, we've affectionately named it 'Poetic' because we firmly believe that all the chosen artworks will embody a poetic essence.

To be eligible, artists must be 18 years old and above.

Incarceration Affects Families & Community: Call to artists & writers

This project includes writings, art exhibit, documentary, a book. Will focus on art making & writing that show how incarceration has impacted families & communities who are related. Responding to the question - How we can use art to protest, process, & object to How Incarceration Affects Families & Communities? Along with offering written works & art that take up the subject, we will create a documentary, and post our outcome online to show our discussion of the ethics of representation, & what it means to write about and make art about this violence & trauma, neglect & damage of people incarcerated & their families/communities.

“LANDSCAPE ARTISTS PAINTING CONTEST & ARTBOOK PROJECT”

We invite our friends, who produce in all branches of visual arts such as painting,  digital painting, illustration, to participate in our art contest and art book publishing program.. Artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art depicting nature landscapes. “Landscape Artists” is an independent art working group.

ENTRY RULES:The contest is open to all international artits over the age of 20.
Must be original artwork to the artist.
Each artist may submit maximum four paintings.
The Theme of the Contest and Art Book: “LANDSCAPE”
Subject is, landscape painting; nature landscapes; mountains, plains, sea, lakes, gardens,
village houses and trees etc. Fantastic and surrealist paintings should not be.

"A War Journalist At The Front" E-book Publishing Program

    Dear researchers and authors,

     On the 105th anniversary of the end of World War I we want to  publish "e-book" about the theme of the journalism history. The special title of subject is " A War Journalist At The Front - The Journalists in the First World War”. Our aim is to focus on the many known and unknown journalists during the First World War, a driving force in the history of journalism. The “Journalist” is an independent researching - working group. Autumn Issue

Collect art is looking for writers and artists, working in different media, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, contemporary jewelry, textile, installation, illustration, mixed media, photography, collage, digital art, poems & short stories.  

Eligibility: Open to all nationalities and to any aged 18 and above.

There is no theme for the Issue.

Create! Magazine is thrilled to announce the call for entries for print issue #41, juried by Victoria Fry, founder of Visionary Art Collective, a New York City contemporary art and artist development company.

As an artist, you know how important it is to get your work in front of new audiences, curators, and leaders in the art world, which is why we are so passionate about creating these opportunities to help you to do just that.

A prominent curator, educator, and mentor, Victoria Fry, will jury this competition. The showcase will highlight the work of 30 talented artists from diverse creative backgrounds using various media and disciplines.
