Children – International Open Call to Artists and Writers (Deadline January 31, 2026)

The artist's and writer's call for the ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal CHILDREN issue is now open.

Children illuminate our world in ways that inspire and energize. They embody a wide range of emotions and possibilities, where laughter signifies joy and tears represent personal growth and transformation. We cherish their presence through play, learning, storyteling, artwork, and discovery. They symbolize hope and potential, bursting with curiosity and imagination. However, the essence of childhood is complex; its fragility can evoke concerns about safety, the loss of innocence, and the pressures of adulthood. Explore your perception of CHILDREN in a literal, abstract, whimsical, or uniquely personal way.
