“Around the World” Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Around the Word”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at http://www.pixarra.com/competition between March 25, and April 21, 2022.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on April  24, 2022. The evaluation  criteria will be: quality, technique and thematic relevance.

Wales Contemporary 2022 - Call for Entries

Now in its third year, Wales Contemporary / Cymru Gyfoes is an international open competition developed by the Waterfront Gallery with support from the Welsh Government.
Wales Contemporary invites artists from all around the world to enter work in 2D or 3D and any subject matter. Accepted mediums include painting, sculpture, drawing, print, ceramic, glass, textile, collage, mixed media, and more.
All of the entries will be considered by a prestigious panel of judges: Rebecca Salter RA, president of the Royal Academy; Morfudd Bevan, Curator of the national collection, the National Library of Wales; and Jill Piercy, curator and writer.

The purpose of this group is to offer artists a safe space for open conversation, support from peers, a chance to build a global network & creative growth through constructive feedbacks, sharing knowledge, experience & networking.
