91st Annual Online Juried Open Exhibition

This call for submission is open to all artists 18 years of age or older living in the U.S. This is a juried online exhibition for artists working in all traditional and non-traditional 2D and 3D media, including sculpture. All artwork must be original in concept, design and execution. No size limitations.

Photography, film, video, computer art, reproductions (such as giclee, prints) are not acceptable unless used as part of a mixed media artwork or collage. Installation art or performance art is not accepted. No crafts (such as jewelry) or kit work. Artwork previously exhibited in a judged show at the NAL will not be accepted.

Bethany Arts Community Announces Call for Fall 2022 Multidisciplinary Residency

Bethany Arts Community offers residencies to emerging and established artists for the development of both new works and works in progress. BAC welcomes artists working across most disciplines, including visual artists in any medium, writers, playwrights, choreographers, musicians, composers, performance artists, filmmakers, and lighting, projection, costume and sound designers. Enjoy an environment where artists from different disciplines can work near each other, creating opportunities for cross-pollination.

The Multidisciplinary Residency includes room, board and $225 stipend per week.

The Fall Multidisciplinary Residency runs for approximately two weeks. Two options are offered:
September 9 to 24, or October 11 to 23

Open Call for Art - 6x6x2022

2021 was a great rebuilding year for 6x6. In 2022 we're hoping to exhibit even more amazing artworks from all around the world. Each summer Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s (RoCo) 6x6 exhibition brings together thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Each artist may enter up to four artworks of any medium (2D or 3D). Artworks must be six inches square and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. Participation is free. All artworks will be exhibited and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names will be revealed to the buyer upon purchase and all artworks remain on display through the end of the exhibition.

In Spring Online Exhibition

We are now accepting submissions for our online exhibition In Spring: Celebrating Women in Art, which will take place in March.

In Spring explores women in their entirety, in their own words. This online exhibit is centered on the themes of growth, change, and identity, and will showcase the work of female creators and artists only. We look forward to reviewing your submissions. Please adhere to the submission criteria below for consideration:

ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to all female artists 18 years and older
- Artwork can be of any medium but must be submitted in a digital format (ex: JPG, PNG, MP4, etc.)
- Size limit per entry: 10 MB

North of the 45th

North of the 45th is an annual juried exhibition of artists living in the geographical area north of the 45th parallel in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The exhibition showcases artists living in this upper Midwest region from rural and urban areas.

John Foster, a writer and scholar of art brut, photography, and self-taught art is the selected juror for North of the 45th. He holds an MFA in painting from Washington University in St. Louis and has spent 40 years as an artist, educator, graphic designer, photographer, and curator of exhibitions throughout the United States.
