ViewPoints 2022

Studio Montclair seeks entries for its 25th Annual Open Juried Exhibition “ViewPoints 2022” at Studio Montclair Gallery, Studio Montclair’s nonprofit gallery located in downtown Montclair from April 23 to May 27, 2022. 

Juror: Roger C. Tucker III is Founder and Director of Tucker Contemporary Art. TCA  works with collectors and institutions interested in acquiring, exhibiting, and promoting the  work of emerging contemporary artists. Leveraging extensive experience in fine art, marketing, and education, Roger advances the careers of African American and other underrepresented artists – academically trained or outside the mainstream. ART AXIS 2022

The art project is aimed at painters, graphic artists, illustrators, etc., who use various techniques and approaches to performing creative work.

Every year the theme of the competition changes. This year’s theme is “My Reality”.

The mission of the Project is to support and help children deprived of parental care develop their creative skills in art.

The main goal of the Project is to support and promote the work of artists (artists of different genres and directions of fine arts) from everywhere, who are inspired by fantasies, fairy tales, fables, myths, life impressions, etc. and want to share their thoughts with the world.

Open Call For Art- A Black Perspective On The Modern World

This exhibition will be on view from February 10th through February 27th, 2022. 

Deadline for submissions: January 28th 11:59pm

Opening reception: February 12th, 6-9pm

at Culture Lab LIC in The Plaxall Gallery, 5-25 46th Ave, Queens, NY 11101 

This show is for Black artists and celebrating their work.

All mediums accepted, original art work only. (painting, photography, sculpture, etc)

All work must be ready to hang or be installed. We cannot accept work otherwise. All work must be hand delivered to the gallery between Feb 3-6.

“Emotions” Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Emotions”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at http://www.pixarra.com/competition between January 25, and February 21, 2022.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on February 24, 2022. The evaluation  criteria will be: quality, technique and thematic relevance.
