Publication in the Artwork Gallery Magazine. Issue 10, Shades of the Season

About Issue – Concept for Open Call:

We invite artists and art lovers to immerse themselves in the magic of autumn — a time when nature reveals its most vibrant palette, and the creative process takes on a deeper meaning. This issue is dedicated to exploring autumnal themes and symbolism: the transition from warm summer to chilly winter, and the changes in light and color that reflect in art, work, and life.

Autumn-related works mark the beginning of a new creative season: a return for artists to active work, exhibitions, sales, and self-improvement. We will also explore how the mood of the season can influence the choice of artistic directions and styles.

Call For NYC Artist - 4th Artist Colony "Heterotopia"

"Heterotopia" invites artists to explore a former hospital in New York, a site that embodies Michel Foucault's concept of heterotopia—spaces where history, memory, and transformation coexist. Once a place of isolation and healing, this abandoned site now stands as a surreal and forgotten landscape. Its blend of decay and resilience offers a powerful environment for artists to explore the layered experiences of space, time, and identity, making it an ideal setting for creative reinterpretation.

A Space will provide transportation to the abandoned place and necessary equipment, including flashlights, gloves, first aid kits, and masks. The program includes a five-day residency at A Space gallery (24-hour access), followed by an exhibition (October 31 – November 10, 2024).
