Reimagining a museum - Torino Design City Summer School 2025

Reimagining a museum - Designing new perspectives for cultural institutions in the 21st century is an international summer school that invites multidisciplinary design participants to come together and collectively imagine possible and desirable futures for cultural institutions in the 21st century.

The challenge? Implementing the way museums relate to the territory and the public, finding new ways to engage communities and institutions on sustainability issues.

Participants will work with MAcA - Museo A come Ambiente as a case study, proposing concrete scenarios that can have a direct impact in the future of the organization.

Indigenous Fashion Runway Residency 2025

Overview  

The three-week Indigenous Fashion Runway Residency offers four Indigenous fashion designers the opportunity to build their portfolios and showcase their runway work in a professional setting.

Participants will be supported by the faculty and Banff Centre’s production team as they explore working with models, photography, and fashion show preparation. This residency is a balance of exploration and self-directed preparation for the runway to showcase 6-8 looks.

Designers may apply with up to 2 collaborators.

Earthrise 2025 Design Residency Open Call

Earthrise 25 – Design for a Living Planet, the annual cultural initiative by Circolo del Design, invites designers to explore the intersection between design and democracy in its 2025 edition, curated by Vera Sacchetti. The exhibition will highlight how democratic systems are designed and how they can be reshaped, engaging audiences in a dialogue on the transformative power of design.
