CALL TO ARTISTS
Seventy years ago, the ACLU of Florida rose in resistance. It was formed to face state-sanctioned assaults on civil rights, when standing up for freedom came with real risk.
For seven decades, we have stood with the people of Florida—defending those who have been silenced, sidelined, and stripped of their rights.
Today, as civil liberties face deliberate and escalating threats, we meet this moment with clear eyes and steadfast hearts. We are fighting with conviction. We are reimaging the future of our state in partnership with the communities we serve. This is more than a commemoration—it is Florida’s call to courage.
