Lust*Art is looking forward to discovering new artists to collaborate with for the 2023 exhibition. The exhibition will feature Kunsttage Basel 2023 from 25th to 27th August.

INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OPEN CALL - FREEDOM

ARTIST OPEN CALL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

We're inviting artists from all over the world to participate in our international exhibition and share their creative ideas on the topic of #freedom!

  • Deadline: 6 June 2023
  • Exhibition dates: 15 June - 30 June
  • Entry fee: 10€ per work
  • All media except video will be considered including 2D & 3D work, painting, sculpture, works on paper, printmaking, photography and mixed media.
  • Selected artists will be included in our online exhibition and in the Foundation's Art Magazine publication. All artists will receive a participation diploma.

DucatoPrize

The main purpose of DucatoPrize is to support and promote the research and production of national and international artists. The competition is addressed to all artists (and artists’ collectives) from all nationalities, without age limits, respecting the criteria set out in each section. You may apply by submitting a single work in any of the two categories: Contemporary or Academy (just for artist regularly enrolled in Academy courses)

Theme Description

The theme of the exhibition is fantasy art. We encourage submissions that depict dragons, fairies, mystical creatures, mythical landscapes, or any other imaginative elements that belong to the world of fantasy. This is your chance to let your imagination run wild!

Are you a recent Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduate looking for an opportunity to showcase your work? We are thrilled to announce that we are accepting submissions for our FIRST MFA Feature Exhibition Catalog! This is your chance to showcase your thought-provoking and boundary-pushing artwork made in graduate school. We welcome submissions from artists working in all mediums, including but not limited to painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation, and mixed media. 

Eligible applicants must have recently graduated with an MFA degree within the past year. We look forward to reviewing your submissions and highlighting the unique perspectives of recent MFA graduates!
