25th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS: International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Art

JONATHAN FERRARA GALLERY proudly hosts the 25th iteration of our annual call for artists - NO DEAD ARTISTS: International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Art. The call is open through 14 JUNE 2021 and the exhibition participants are selected by a prestigious group of five arts professionals. The exhibition itself is installed in the gallery for the entire month of September with an opening reception in conjunction with the Arts District New Orleans' First Saturday Gallery Openings on 4 September 2021 from 12-7 pm.

Call for Artisan Consignors over Age 50

The Old Bakery & Artisan Emporium in Austin, Texas is seeking diverse artists over the age of 50 to join our Artisan Consignor team. Our historical building offers Artisans a prime location to sell their handmade and one-of-a-kind work. We are seeking artisans and handcrafters who are producing work for sale in any medium. Deadline to apply is May 30, 2021.

BOOMER WEEK | OPEN CALL

Marking one year since the opening of our gallery space in Central London, we have decided to have an exhibition celebrating this and the on going ascendence of our organisation through good and bad times. 

This Show Will Come With A Lot Of 

Awards!!!

Three artists will be selected to participate in our next group show in July. 

Also, each of the three artists will get a £200 cash prize. 

Who will select the artists? 

On the opening event we will have a jar containing all the names of the participants and a member from the audience will select three random names. 

The selection will be broadcasted live on our Instagram page @boomergallery.

Spectrum Art Award 2022

The Spectrum Art Award is a national competition, created to celebrate the creative excellence of artists on the autistic spectrum. It is open to all UK adults over the age of 18 who identify as being on the autistic spectrum and for work in any medium. Submission is free.

The Award is now open for submissions until 31st July 2021. The award will recognise the achievements of 5 selected finalists equally; each finalist will win £5,000 and an opportunity to have their work exhibited and advanced in its most suitable form. All five will also receive invaluable professional mentoring, curatorial and PR support.
