»TRANSITIONS« – MULTIMEDIA ART EXHIBITION

 

The Leo Baeck Foundation’s arts and culture programme DAGESH. Jüdische Kunst im Kontext (Jewish Art in Context) in cooperation with the global network for Jewish culture, Asylum Arts cordially invite Jewish artists from across Europe and the Americas to participate in a multimedia arts exhibition »TRANSITIONS« that will premier in Berlin on June 30th, 2021.

»TRANSITIONS« seeks to create a new Jewish visibility that transcends borders in a European and transatlantic exchange. Via video and sound art, text composition, and other forms of visual and digital arts, selected artists will showcase their experience and understanding of solidarity and resistance through aesthetics and artistic practice from a shared and yet diverse contemporary Jewish perspective.

MMMAD Madrid’s Urban Digital Art Festival together with Goethe-Institut Madrid and LABA School of Art, Design & New Media launch the I Open Call for artistic projects in AR through Instagram filters.
“Our way of perceiving the digital world has changed radically in the last year. Telecommuting, online classes, streaming platforms, shopping or social networks make us spend more and more hours in front of our screens. Devices are already an indispensable part of us, both our bodies and the space around us are altered from the digital constructing new dimensions of the sensitive field. The physical and digital worlds are getting closer and closer.

Call for Artists – International online Art Magazine

Online Artheme visual Magazine is pleased to announce its Call for Artist Proposal for an online magazine.

Artheme visual Magazine is an international online Magazine dedicated to showcasing and promoting talented Artists from all over the world.

-All artists must be at least 18 or older to apply. All works must be of your ownership. We do not accept other artist's work.

-Painting, drawing, Collage, Street Art, Textile Art, sculpture, digital art, Illustration, photography and mixed media are eligible.

- Please make sure your artwork is at a high resolution.

-All published artists will receive a free digital copy of the magazine and your work will be featured on social media.

Flower Power

The Art Guild invites all artists, high school and older, to submit artworks for consideration for “FLOWER POWER”, a Juried Competition and Exhibition.   

Flowers are more than beautiful.  Their symbolic language has been recognized by many cultures since the beginning of time. They bring joy to our happiest celebrations and provided comfort on the saddest days. 

Georgia O’ Keefe said ”If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for a moment.” Show us the power of your flowers!

Temple of Medusa

Century Guild is accepting applications for the opportunity to be selected as one of thirty artists to have their work published in a hardcover fine art book titled 'Temple of Medusa'.

Much like the sanctuaries built to house the likenesses of ancient Greek gods and goddesses, 'Temple of Medusa' aims to create a similar shrine honoring this icon of world history. In contrast to the many renderings of Medusa's defeat that have been created throughout art history, what would a visual testament to Medusa's victory look like? If Medusa's temple were built today, what works of art would adorn it?
