INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR ART, ArtMaze Magazine Special Anniversary Edition: Issue 15

Art Maze Magazine is an independent artist-run and ad-free international print and online publication dedicated to showcasing and promoting experimental and progressive contemporary art, which reflects modern society and its environment, provokes conversation and action; fosters innovation and diversity of mediums which make today’s art scene so intriguing and versatile.

ELIGIBILITY:Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film (only jpg + link to video) etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.

Artists or any art organisations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration.

Call for Art: 3rd Midwest Open

EXHIBITION DATES: JANUARY 16 – FEBRUARY 8, 2020

ENTRY DEADLINE: OCTOBER 18, 2019

NOTIFICATIONS: WEEK OF NOVEMBER 20, 2019

Exhibition Description: Invitation to all female identified artists residing in one of the twelve Midwestern States to submit artwork for an open themed exhibition. States include: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. All themes, styles, and media will be considered. Currently created artwork that explores or challenges conceptual and material boundaries is encouraged.   

Awards: 1st place $300, 2nd place $100, 3rd place, Honorable Mention

The Mendocino Art Center is now accepting applications from artists and craftspeople for the 60th Annual Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Fair. The fair is scheduled over Thanksgiving Weekend, Friday and Saturday, November 29 and 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days, at the Mendocino Art Center. The Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Fair draws a large number of holiday visitors from the Bay Area, the Sacramento Valley and southern California, among other regions.

ShockBoxx, a cutting edge art gallery in Hermosa Beach California, is looking for all formats of photography for this upcoming Gallery Exhibition and Juried Photography Competition.

The top photography submissions will win a Cash Prize and Award Certificate, as well as receiving Featured Wall Space in the exhibition. Artworks will be judged based on creativity, interpretation, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.

Competition will also be featured on ARTSY.

Call for proposals: artCONNECTS - Montclair Mural Project

artCONNECTS is a public art project sponsored by the Montclair Center BID, in partnership with Studio Montclair. The placemaking project is funded by a grant provided by the NJ Main Street program and the Montclair Center Business Improvement District. Four locations have been identified throughout Downtown Montclair for original painted murals. The locations include a key alleyway, and walls at connection points where art can surprise and delight. Murals are to be temporary, with a five year expected life.
