Butterbiggens Prize

The Butterbiggens Prize is an experiment to see if an art foundation can be productive on a micro scale. We provide tiny grants for artists in the form of fast food gift certificates.

A showcase for contemporary emerging artists, Every month a UK painter will be nominated, and receive a fast food voucher as well as an online interview and profile. 

Micro Fellowship for UK painters, juried by a group of Scottish Art Students.

 If you include multiple photos one should be an installation shot, We would like to get a sense of scale. Include dimensions and medium, CV is optional.

Open call for artists and curators -

Meno Parkas Gallery based in Kaunas (Lithuania) and Düsseldorf (Germany) is inviting artists, currators and creative collectives of any form to apply with exhibitions or events projects for gallery spaces in year 2020.

We especially encourage to apply young artists (under 35), artists working in contemorary experimental forms, interdisciplinary artists, also collaboration projects between Lithuanian and foreign artists.

Rental prices for one month in Kaunas gallery space:

Ground floor (50sq/m) - 550 Eur

First floor (200 sq/m) - 900 Eur

Second floor (104 sq/m) - 700 Eur

There is possibility to apply for one space or all three spaces.

Cameron Art Museum recognizes the crucial role of artists and art in creating an exceptional quality of life for a community. CAM believes that art, like a lantern, illuminates the mystery, empathy and wonder of human existence. Artists are invited to submit proposals of original designs for this one-of-a-kind exhibition.

Three new open calls in Barcelona - Contorno Urbano

We open new calls for the 2019-2020 year.

We are looking for artists for the following projects: 12 + 1 in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (12 artists), Vincles in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (4 artists) and Contorno Urbano Gallery (3 artists). The call for 12 + 1 of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat will be open soon and will be managed through the City Council, not through this form.

You can register for one, two or three calls. We ask that you fill out the form only once, attaching the files of the three calls (each call has a file) in the same section of the form and with the rest of the necessary documentation.

The call will be open from 00h on August 7, 2019 to 24h on September 15, 2019 (GMT +1)

Open Call for Figurative Art - Group Exhibition in NYC September 2019

Dacia Gallery is pleased to invite emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in Dacia Gallery's Nine-Year Anniversary Group Exhibition. We are looking for a diverse body of artwork in all mediums and styles that is based on figurative art and portraits, this will be a group show comprised of artwork created by contemporary artists, exhibiting what is being created on today. September is a big month for art in NYC, all the major opening receptions and exhibitions take place in September, at Dacia Gallery we look forward to exhibiting your work to the art aficionados of NYC.
