Summer in Athens

Every summer our thought is on vacation, the sea and the cool breeze on an island. But what happens when this thought does not come true and we live in Athens? Many times we observe the increased movement on the balconies of apartment buildings, the love of people for the invention of air conditioning, but also the relaxation, perhaps in the seaside of Athens.

Athens is an urban area mainly, where you meet many different people. Some have the opportunity to enjoy their summer in a relaxed way and some do not, while many of them work.

70 YEARS FROM THE FIRST F1 CHAMPIONSHIP

From its beginnings to the present day, from Fangio to Hamilton, the drivers, the machines, the circuits, the glamour, the passion, the adventure… F1 has inspired generations of artists and will continue to do so for many years.

Artists from all over the world are invited to participate in this campaign to support the Fangio Museum Foundation through its unique vision of the 70 years of F1. Registration for Lap 1 will close on October 5th, 2021.

LGBTGI+ & Body

The LGBTQI+ community has always been searching for a safe space to express itself, but always fearing the potential criticism it would receive.

The manifold relationship with our body has always been a taboo topic, uncharted waters and a source of concern for a lot of people, something that gradually changes.

So, how can the complexity of the bond with the body we “live in” be expressed?

In the upcoming art exhibition, we want to invite the people of the LGBTQI+ community to freely express themselves and our goal is to welcome artworks, which will represent the connection with their body.

Art4Water Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition

The Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition is the inaugural program of Art4Water, an initiative to advocate for environmental protection through the lens of art. The exhibition is a collaboration between Wimberley Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) and Sky Wind World and brings together the art community around our love for Texas’ great springs. For over a quarter century, WVWA has protected and preserved clean, clear flowing water in Jacob’s Well, across the Hill Country, and all over Texas. Through this exhibition, Art4Water, Sky Wind World, and WVWA will raise awareness of the vital connection of water to life. With the Well as one example, “Sacred Springs” seeks to float a collection of groundwater icons in the sky. Art shapes culture, and changes people and communities.

We welcome participation from anyone who would like to share their visual art: professional and amateur artists or simply those who want to give it a go and get creative!
