"Solo Exhibitions" Online Art Competition & "Group Exhibitions" Online Art Competition

ALBE ART GALLERY  announces its 2nd "Solo Exhibitions" Online Art Competition.

This competition will result in an:

  • four awards of  1 month solo art exhibitions, February 01 - May 30, 2021.
  • all Solo Exhibitions Artists will be featured  Albe Art Magazine winter-spring edition
  • in addition, the gallery will award the next 10 juried artists to be featured in the Albe Art Magazine winter-spring edition. 
  • all wining artists (Merit Award & Honorable Mention) will receive a digital award certificate.

Artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their art. There is no theme in this contest and all visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed.

$12 entry fee for 15 images. Deadline: January 20, 2021.

Public Art RFQ – “Queen City Courts,” Basketball court artwork for the City of Marquette

The Marquette Public Art Commission (MPAC) is seeking a qualified artist (“vendor”) or artist team to design (“artwork”) and paint a site-specific artwork on the surface of the Hurley Park Basketball Court, Marquette, MI. The vendor will organize/lead any necessary workers or volunteers through the painting of the court surface with their artwork.

We are now accepting submissions for the upcoming virtual exhibition ‘Humanoids’

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any medium. (photography, painting, printmaking, video art, installation, sculpting, mixed media, illustration etc). The theme of the exhibition is OPEN. Any artist from any background can submit any of their work as we are looking for the most captivating artwork to be part of our exhibition. There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us.

The team will review all applications and the selected work will be announced in December.

Open call for artists- heritage photo reproduction competition

We are looking for artists of all ages working across all mediums to create a piece of artwork for us- the winner of our competition will have their artwork displayed, pride of place, in the entrance to the Beonna.

To enter, we would like you to use any pictures of the building across our website or social media and create your artwork based on your own interpretation of it.

Perhaps you will use watercolours to recreate the photo, create a collage version of the building or use software to digitally alter the image?
